Located at 2,000 metres above sea level, next to the mountain station of the Schmittenhohe Cable Car, Berghotel Schmittenhohe offers ski-to-door access, a modern spa area, and a large sun terrace with panoramic mountain views.
The rooms, renovated in 2018, overlook the surrounding mountains and offer satellite TV and free WiFi. Most of the rooms have a balcony,
The 330 m2 spa area features various saunas, a fitness room, a sun bed, and a massage bed. Bathrobes are provided.

The Schmittenhohe Berghotel is only reachable by cable car, which operates between 08:30 and 16:30. From the valley station, the centre of Zell am See can be reached in 5 minutes with the free ski bus, or on foot in 20 minutes. The ski pass is also valid in Kaprun, 8 km away. Please note that the hotel can only be reached by cable car, which only operates between 08:30 and 16:30. Limited parking is available next to the valley station (reservations required).
A reservation requires full vaccination or recovery (certified) for adults. Children from 12 to 18 years old need a valid PCR test.
